LYNNE CORMACK: THE AUDITION LAB

“The audition: the place where, in a totally artificial environment, actors must create the role and the opportunity of a job all by themselves.”

Many talented actors are at a loss when it comes to auditioning on-camera. They often find themselves without a process to prepare and consistently achieve a great audition.
The irony is, unless you are fortunate enough to have your own series, most of your professional life will be spent auditioning.

So the audition, in essence, is the work! Many actors are in denial of this fact. Theatre schools often don’t address this process. It’s up to the actor to ensure that once they get in the audition room, they achieve the best possible audition.

That is what "THE AUDITION LAB" is all about.

INVEST IN YOURSELF!
No one can build an on-camera career without consistently proving themselves in the audition room.
THE ON-CAMERA AUDITION MASTER CLASS
“The audition: the place where, in a totally artificial environment, actors must create the role and the opportunity of a job all by themselves.”
This intensive 3-part weekend is designed to give you practical and solid on-camera audition skills.
Working from contemporary film and t.v. scenes, you will explore:

how your work really looks on camera, vs. what you “think” you did
how to prep and emotionally access the script while under pressure
how to use the camera and the environment of the audition to your best  advantage
This is an extremely practical class, involving lots of camera time & feedback about your work. Very valuable for trained actors who need to hone or refresh their audition skills; also actors who have done mostly theatre work & are relatively new to auditioning for film & television.
